For those who don’t know, Monday Couple is a couple from a famous korean reality tv show called Running Man. The couple are Gary and Ji Hyo. Why Monday? it’s just because the shoot for Running Man is done mostly on mondays, they only get together on mondays and they are together on mondays. Monday Couple.

… Eventhough it’s not real or the monday couple thing is only for the shoot. I’m not even sure if it’s not real also. I hope it’s real though. But i’m probably denying the truth. Actually from what i heard, in real life, Ji Hyo, has a boyfriend now. Which means, there’s no more monday boyfriend. No monday boyfriend means no monday couple and no monday couple means no romantic funny scenes! I watched the Running Man because it’s a funny game show! Each characters has their own characteristics and attitude. They’re even inside jokes! and the jokes goes from one episode to another. When they are put together, they are a crazy bunch. You have to see it to understand it. But the main point is the Monday Couple is one of the reason i watched the show.
It if confirmed that Drogba will be leaving Chelsea. I don’t even now what to say. Drogba is an amazing striker. If you want your team to win or have a lot of scores, just put Drogba in your team.
The contract thing has been ongoing since last year. The club refused his demands to extend 2 years of his contract. Now his contract is expiring this season and he will move to a new club. Chelsea won the Champions League due to Drogba’s equaliser and his decisive penalty. If I were the Chelsea people, i would extand the contract no matter what. Unless he suck in front of the goal. Which he is not.
Now, it’s been reported he has agreed to join Shanghai Shenhua. I am not sure. If he moves there, he will be reunited with ex-blues Anelka. If only he could come to Manchester United to play for 1 year and we could win another treble. You never know

On another sad note, Kalou and Bosingwa is set to leave Chelsea. Their contracts are expiring this summer and they are not being renewed. I’m not even sure why they are releasing these two players. Kalou always makes the opposition’s defence scatter! if you leave him alone, he’ll score! Crazy Kalou! Not sure about Bosingwa but i would pick him if Valencia (Valencia is right winger but sometimes given the right back/ attacking fullback role to give support to the attackers) is not around.
Currently watching the live stream if the Olympic torch relay in Britain. As of now 9.53pm Brunei Time, the torch is on the way to Exeter from Plymouth.
Just in case somebody doesn’t know, this year’s olympic games will be held at London Hence London 2012. Right now, we have 68 more days until the opening ceremony. Can’t wait to see all the live events. If only somebody could sponsor me to go there I would like to cover the footballs events though. Gonna support Great Britain!

Remember the other day that i posted about the Royal Commonwealth Society Photo Awards. So yeah. It’s still ongoing though. What I wanted to share is that my story got posted in their Jubilee Time Capsule timeline. It doesn’t mean i’ve won or anything, it means my story got posted. That’s all.
Anyway, for those who don’t know, Jubilee Time Capsule is a project by the Royal Commonwealth Society, This project is a way to share your stories from the past 60 years with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2. It is made to commemorate her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The best part? Best part is i could win some of these:

So a 1923 Leica camera was up for auction and it was bought for 1.8 millions euros by anonymous buyer. 2.16 million euros total (plus tax). The camera is a Leica 0-Series and it’s a prototype version. Only 25 prototypes are made before the full production and only 12 cameras are known. If only I got loads of money, i would buy one of these.

Both cameras are Leica M6 Silver Jubilee Sultan of Brunei. Both are released in 1992 and has two editions, 24-carat Gold-plated and Platinum-plate finishing. I would like to have the platinum one but i don’t mind having the gold one Would be great to have a proper glass cabinet and put the camera on display.

Started my evening with watching F1. I am a big fan of Ferrari. Not so much on the driver though. However, Alonso is different. I’ll follow Ferrari and Alonso all the way.
Anyway, last night at the Spanish Grand Prix, Alonso got P2. Surprisingly, number one is Maldonado. Expected to win since it’s on Alonso’s home soil. but not to worry, he’ll perform better in the next race.
Speaking of the next race, it’s Monaco Grand Prix =D looking forward for it!

After the formula 1, continued my night with the English Premier League. My favourite team, Manchester United against Sunderland. Rooney scored the only and the winning goal of the game. Watched the whole game and Man Utd can put a lot behind the net.
Unfortunately, the win wasn’t enough to win the league. City and United has the same points with City at the top with a higher goal difference. Manchester City was against QPR. QPR scored the lead but City equalised. QPR scored another one and took the lead. QPR was dropped to ten men when Barton was given the red card. During injury time (5mins), City managed to score twice and won the league.
I am a Manchester United fan and i will stay that way forever, no matter what happens. I believe Man Utd can bounce back and win the league next season. It’s always nice to win the league back to back but i prefer losing the league cup and win it back the next season. Which means, games are more interesting that way Glory~ Glory~ Man Utd~
Man Utd just unveiled their new home kit. Inspired by the club’s rich history and the close bond with the heritage of Manchester. Rich history, great players and awesome shirt. Would buy one in the future for this one.
Liverpool FC also unveiled their new shirt. They are no longer with Adidas. Their new shirt sponsor is Warrior Sports. In January 2012, they signed a deal that would make Warrior Sport as the kit sponsors for the next season. Well looks to me, the kits looks a bit classic to me. Gerrard said that it’s comfortable, so yeah.
The other day around 2am-ish Brunei time, i was watching the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2012 live stream from Earls Court, London. I am very excited the new Galaxy is here!

Some of the awesome features.
Smart Stay. The phone will detect your eyes. If your eyes are open, the phone will stay awake. If your eyes closes, then the phone’s screen will go off. It’s a great feature i would say. Imagine this. On the S2, i had to set it to stay awake for a few minutes. When i’m using an app like Flashlight or reading an article during on the web, the screen will go off and i had to press the unlock button, swipe the unlock screen (or key in password) to open it again. It’s very annoying. To be honest, I could set the timer a few more minutes and it could solve my problem anyway hahaha :D but with this feature, i don’t need to press the lock button again or not that much =)
S Voice. You speak, it listens. It’s what you expect in a smartphone nowadays. You talk to your phone to check the weather or write a message. It’s a typical thing. However, i like that when the phone’s screen is off and you say,”Wakeup” , the phone will be awake. I like this one because i don’t have to push the lock button or swipe to unlock hahaha i guess i have to say it’s kinda like Apple’s Siri. BUT this one says that it can recognize 8 languages. It knows British, US English, Italian, German, French, Continental and Latin American Spanish and Korean.
Direct Call. The phone knows when you want to call someone. Imagine when you are messaging somebody and you are trying to explain something and it’s troublesome, so just pick up the phone, put it next to your ear and it will call the person without you dialing in their phone number. Nice feature but i don’t think i’m using it to much use except durg Hari Raya
Smart Alert. It says no more missed calls or missed messages. I don’t know how this one works. Will update this part when i get on it. I’m still not sure haha it says that it when you got missed calls and when you picked up the phone, it will give out a small buzz to remind you that you got missed calls. I don’t know what but it’s still a missed call
Social Tag. This one is awesome. When you take photos with your family and close friends, the phone will recognise the faces in the gallery. It will then link it with their social networks. So you will stay up-to-date with them even when you are busy. Some phones has this feature but those only links with the phonebook. The difference is S3 recognise the faces in the gallery and will connect to their social networks such as Facebook. I guess this is a good feature for STALKERS!! haha Take a photo of somebody you like from afar and just like that, you can find their social network pages
S Beam. You can share anything with just bumping your S3 with your friend’s S3. It uses the NFC and WiFi Drect technologies to do this. NFC is something like when you want to pay some food, you can just use your phone, bump it at the paying counter and it will deduct from your pre-paid credits or put it into your phone bill. Something like swiping your credit card. For WiFi Direct, it’s something like a simplified WiFi. WiFi negotiate with devices who tries to connect. WiFi Direct connects just like that. It some cases it may replace bluetooth at some time. I also want to share that i saw this feature as an app called The Bump. Two phones, same app and when you want to share something, just bump the phones to each other. So this feature is nice, since i don’t have to set up much to share something with somebody.
AllShare Cast. You share your screen such as on TVs. So what you view on your phone, it will be on the TV and everyone can look at it. There is a dongle that you need to connect to the TV. Best part is that it’s wireless. Saw some old phones that has this feature but they had to use a cable to connect. However, this is far better. You can even do a presentation and you can control everything from your phone.
Buddy Photo Share. Let you share your photo with your friends. When you take a picture with your friends, the phone will recognise your friends’ face and it will ask you if you want to send to them using either e-mail or MMS. I guess when you’re still with your friends, you can use the S Beam. This feature would be great if you want to share after you guys went home.
AllShare Play. You can view documents or play videos on the S3 even when the file is in a computer somewhere else through the internet.
Group Cast. You can even view and edit documents on different devices and different people at the same time. This would be great when you’re doing a document together with your friends or colleagues.
Popup Play. Doing 2 things at once. You can watch a video while writing an essay at the side or doing your essay while googling the web
Intelligent Camera. I like how camera is 8mp now. Can fit in more details. Anyway, this camera, they promise no shutter lag! and another feature is that this time, there is a burst mode (up to 20 photos) with a rate of 3.3 photos per second. Out of a burst of 8 photos, the camera will also pick the best photo of you. Good for those who always shuts their eyes while taking a photo.
Face Zoom. zooming on the face haha
Face Slideshow. Automatically doing a slideshow on people’s faces in the gallery.
Group Tag. Will sort your photos in tags like family or friends.
HD Self Video with front camera. Finally, a good front camera. So vain people, ENJOY! You can capture a photo while recording and there is video stabilization to reduce blur. There is also a backside illumination sensor which means you can take photos in low light areas. I know somebody will like this part.
Some other things:
The lock screen gives out information such as stock information or your message. I would usually look at the time during the lock screen. Would prefer if there is also weather and meetings on that day.
The mobile is inspired by nature. When you touch the screen, it will ripple like when you touch the water in a small pond. Other than that, they are supporting WWF.
More energy efficient. Longer battery life. Yeah it better be!
Screen is much bigger than the S2 but it does not mean gets larger. They just have a narrow bezel. What an achievement!
Wireless charger. YEAH!!! Available separately though.
In Call Sound Equalizer. Makes the voice on the other side more clear.
WiFi Channel Bombing. Double the speed of WiFi.
Bluetooth. Cuts energy consumption and faster transfer.
S Pebble. Kinda like a mp3 controller of the phone.
Mirror Link. Links your phone to the tv screen in your car if you have one good for hands free calls

Dodge Viper. That’s my dream car. i still like the 2nd generation ones but the new 2013 edition is waaaaaaay awesome.

Here’s the unveiling of the SRT Viper during the New York International Auto Show. It was unveiled about a month ago around this time.
Oh i just want to say that Bruneians are getting richer by the day haha good for them. Work hard and play hard. The others who ‘scratch’ hard and play hard, shame on you! if you know what i mean hahaha The other day i saw the new 2012 Gand Cherokee. Not really a fan of the car but the 2012 is something different.

Because of the “cheap” Dodge Viper, i got 2 alternative i-can-only-by-these-due-to-Viper’s-price-tag dream car *lol* One is the VW GOLF Mk5 GTI and the other is Mitsubishi Evo 9. Not a big fan of the R and Evo 10. Seen some reviews and i still prefer the old ones. I still like how they look compared to the new ones. For performances, we can jacked them up anyway.
Talking about cars, i was browsing around for used cars. Guess what did i found. A VW GOLF MK5 GTI. Here’s some description. It’s the 2009 edition. Graphite Blue coloured. DSG transmission. Being sold at around BND$35k. Nearly BND$900 if taken monthly for 3 years and 9 months. Just a bit steep for my liking but it’ll be finished in 4 years. If I go for this one, it’ll be sweet. Would change it to black or white.
Another car that i saw was Subaru Version 5 STI Type R. The one of only two cars that i like coming from Subaru. The other one being the Subaru BRZ. It’s the 1999 model, white coloured and the mileage is 128k. It sells at BND$26.5k and it’s ok lah. The car is seldom used and it’s always in the garage. What interests me about this one is because the seller said it’s one of three units. I saw a black one and a grey one. So that means I’ve seen it all haha don’t know how true that statement anyway. Would love to buy this car but i wouldn’t bother to. My bro-in-law got one of them already so i’ll just borrow anytime hahaha
The other day, i told my friend to look out for Evo 9. I haven’t seen any Evo 9 for sale for a while. My friend told that people are also looking for it. Apparently, 2 of my friends’ brother owns Evo 9 and both of them have been approached by strangers to buy their Evo and even swap. Even i wouldn’t swap for anything. Even if it’s the new Dodge Viper hahaha
EPL MASTERS BRUNEI CUP 2012
My brother gave me free tickets to watch the EPL MASTERS. It was awesome. I got to see Robbie Fowler and Andy Cole playing. Would be awesome if i brought my long lens. The event was ok but what i didn’t like was the lucky draw. I didn’t win any hahaha but seriously, when the lucky draw was announced, there was a number and a name. I didn’t write my name on any paper or being told to do so for the lucky draw. I guess it was a different lucky draw to certain people maybe. The worst part is when they wanted to give away the the new Lexus CT200h and when they announced the number and the name, two people got up. The other one got the number and the other one got the name. They gave the number to the one with the name. So i’m not sure how that went. T o sum up the night, last years event were slightly better but it was fun, nonetheless.
One thing, i would like to say. Very unexpected. Bayern Munich and Chelsea are going to the UEFA Champions League Finals. Good news for Bayern Munich since the finals will be at Football Arena Munchen.

Talking about the match of Chelsea against Barcelona. A very unexpected result. Barcelona was the favourites to win the CL. Now the game has changed. All eyes on Chelsea. But i would say, all eyes on Torres. TORRES SCORED!!!! He was brought in as a substitute on the 80mins changing with Didier Drogba and 10mins later, he scored and confirmed their place in the finals. 50 million pounds paid just like that. Looking forward for Torres to score in the finals. oh but the bad part is about Terry’s dismissal. We won’t be seeing him in the finals.

The other match, Bayern Munich against Real Madrid. As usual I expected Real to win but nooooo, Bayern Munich did. but hey, the best team wins and in this case, it’s Bayern. I thought it was a sure win when Ronaldo scored twice but when Robben scored, it’s anybody’s game.
So the finals, I’m neutral. Not sure who am I going to support. So i’m just gonna go with whoever wins but i do hope Torres and Drogba scores! haha

One of my idol is Saiful Nang. He’s a wedding photographer from Malaysia. He creates amazing photos with his team, Candidsyndrome. When I am about to take photos of Malay weddings, i usually look at his photos and try to replicate the angle. It’s not the same but it works. His angle, composition and the subject all plays a part and creates a beautiful image. Hopefully, he’ll make another workshop in Brunei and i’ll make sure I join. If money permits haha
Oh so back to my topic, Awal and Scha, two celebrities from Malaysia, are getting married and they chose Saiful Nang to be their photographer. I’ll be looking forward for their photos.
